From tiny fluffball to majestic queen
Zoey's story began with a camera roll full of puppy photos and the simple wish to remember every stage of growing up. What started as documenting her early days slowly became something more — a place to share what we were learning, what was working for us, and what life with a Chow Chow really looks like behind the beautiful fluff.
She's well-traveled, well-loved, and wonderfully opinionated. From early puppy-school mornings to quiet afternoons full of naps, treats, and dramatic side-eyes, Zoey has turned everyday life into a running lesson in patience, personality, and softness.

SIGNATURE FEATURE
The famous blue-black tongue
One of the things people notice first about Zoey is her blue-black tongue — a signature Chow Chow trait that makes the breed instantly memorable. Puppies are born with pink tongues that darken as they grow, and while science explains it through pigmentation, we still like the old story best: that Chow Chows licked the night sky while it was being painted.
